A key aspect of the design is improving accessibility and connectivity, with a new winding bridge and enhanced walking paths that integrate seamlessly with the waterfront. The space is designed to be flexible, allowing for cultural events, workshops, and gatherings while maintaining a strong connection to nature. Håpshagen (The Garden of Hope) reintroduces native vegetation, and a dedicated bird habitat supports local wildlife.

By blending history, sustainability, and social interaction, Håpsplassen transforms Isegran into a vibrant meeting place that fosters both environmental awareness and a sense of belonging.
